Soul4Real began life in 2000 as a soul weekender in Bilbao, created with a simple mission: to promote and play real soul music in its purest form. What started on the dance floor soon evolved into a dedicated label, with Soul4Real Records officially established in 2014. In 2021, the family expanded with the launch of the Jai Alai sub-label.

Together, the two imprints form a carefully curated home for essential and overlooked soul recordings across eras.

SOUL4REAL

Classic and rare soul, primarily drawn from the golden era of the 1960s and 1970s. This catalogue focuses on previously unissued, overlooked, or hard-to-find recordings—many appearing on vinyl or 7” for the very first time. Each release is treated as a rediscovered piece of soul history, brought back into circulation for collectors, DJs, and dedicated listeners.

JAI ALAI

A forward-facing extension of the Soul4Real ethos, Jai Alai explores contemporary soul from the 21st century alongside carefully selected, semi-known or previously overlooked recordings from earlier decades. The focus is on discovery - exciting music, often appearing on vinyl or 7” for the very first time, bridging modern soul culture with its deep-rooted heritage.
