Loose Music

Loose Music

Born from the independent spirit of Vinyl Junkie (est. 1994), Loose Music has grown into one of Europe's leading Americana labels. Based in Ladbroke Grove, West London, the label has spent over two decades championing authentic, roots-driven music from both sides of the Atlantic.

Loose has built an impressive and diverse roster over the years, working with artists such as Giant Sand, M. Ward, Courtney Marie Andrews, The Felice Brothers, Dawes, Sturgill Simpson, Neko Case, and The Handsome Family, among many others.

A defining early moment came when their first signing, The Handsome Family, landed the theme for HBO's True Detective, setting the tone for a label with a keen ear for standout songwriting. Since then, Loose has celebrated Grammy-nominated releases—including Sturgill Simpson's Metamodern Sounds in Country Music and Courtney Marie Andrews' Old Flowers - as well as multiple No.1 records on the UK Americana Chart.

Still fiercely independent, Loose Music continues to push the boundaries of modern Americana while staying true to its roots.
