Conjure One – Extraordinary Way

Originally released in 2005 on Nettwerk, Extraordinary Way showcases the more dancefloor-oriented side of Conjure One, the electronic project founded by Canadian producer and composer Rhys Fulber, best known for his work with Front Line Assembly and Delerium. The original song appeared on the 2005 album Extraordinary Ways, with the subsequent 12" single focusing on two extended club remixes.

The A-side features the Antillas Remix, an extended 7:46 trance interpretation that pushes the atmospheric Conjure One sound towards a more driving, main-floor electronic style. Antillas' remix was released in September 2005 and is listed as Trance (Main Floor), running at 138 BPM.

On the flip, the Low End Specialists Remix stretches to over nine minutes and takes the track into more progressive territory. At around 130 BPM, its longer arrangement gives the production greater space to develop, making it particularly suited to extended DJ sets and listeners looking for the crossover between atmospheric electronic music, progressive house and trance.

Both remixes feature the song's atmospheric electronic character while demonstrating two distinct strands of the mid-2000s club scene. The release is therefore an appealing choice for collectors of 2000s trance, progressive house, Nettwerk electronic releases and Conjure One, as well as DJs looking for longer vinyl mixes rather than the shorter radio edits.
