Filler – M Y H C

Filler – M Y H C

Filler’s M Y H C is a four-track UK vinyl release that captures the concise, direct approach of the alternative underground around the turn of the 1990s. With its compact sequence of original songs - “Better Learn”, “M Y H C”, “Hurt To Say” and “Nowhere” - this release offers a snapshot of the band’s recorded output in a format made for listeners who appreciate digging beyond the better-known names of the era.

The release is documented as a UK 12-inch vinyl EP from 1990, with catalogue number 12PIG3. Filler’s music sits within the broader territory of alternative rock and the independent guitar scene, making this a relevant find for collectors exploring late-1980s and early-1990s underground releases.

The four-track programme gives the record a focused feel, with the title track “M Y H C” at its centre. Rather than an extended album statement, this is a concise release for listeners interested in tracing the output of lesser-known alternative acts and discovering records that sit outside the mainstream catalogue.

For collectors of UK independent vinyl, alternative rock and early-1990s underground music, M Y H C is a worthwhile addition to a collection built around the period’s smaller releases. Its original four-track sequence also makes it easy to explore Filler’s work in a single sitting.
