Show Time is the 1977 live album from Ry Cooder, capturing the acclaimed guitarist and roots-music historian at his most relaxed, inventive and entertaining. The beautifully arranged How Can A Poor Man Stand Such Times And Live follows, bringing the album back towards its blues and gospel roots.

The extended Smack Dab In The Middle provides a suitably energetic finale, giving Cooder and his band plenty of room to stretch out.
