Released in 1981, World Service is a sophisticated and thought-provoking solo album by British singer, songwriter, and producer Anthony Moore. Best known for his work with avant-garde group Slapp Happy and later as a lyricist for Pink Floyd, Moore combines intelligent songwriting with art rock, new wave, and progressive pop influences to create an album full of atmosphere, wit, and understated musical craftsmanship.
