Long before their global success as a pop-rock phenomenon, Fleetwood Mac were one of the leading bands of the British blues boom. Black Magic Woman showcases the group's original incarnation led by guitarist and songwriter Peter Green, whose soulful playing and deeply expressive songwriting helped establish Fleetwood Mac as one of the finest blues bands of the late 1960s.

Drawing heavily on American electric blues traditions while adding their own distinctive British character, the recordings featured here capture the band at a formative and highly creative stage.
