“Her Name Is Julie” is a superb 2-CD collection showcasing the intimate, understated vocal style of American singer and actress “Julie London”. Best known for her sultry, close-miked delivery and sophisticated interpretations of the Great American Songbook, London became one of the defining female vocalists of the 1950s. The collection was released in 2009 and brings together 37 recordings spanning her classic repertoire.
