Suicide Blonde – Nobody Tells Me Anything

Suicide Blonde – Nobody Tells Me Anything

Nobody Tells Me Anything is a rare 7" white-label advance promotional single from British rock band "Suicide Blonde". Dating from around 1990, this scarce promo pressing pairs the title track with "Only A Song" and offers an intriguing glimpse into the band's brief appearance on the UK independent rock scene.

The title track, "Nobody Tells Me Anything", is backed by "Only A Song", with both sides presented on this advance promotional 7" pressing. Unlike a standard retail issue, a white-label advance copy was produced for promotional purposes ahead of, or alongside, a commercial release, making surviving examples particularly interesting to collectors of obscure UK singles and promotional vinyl.

"Suicide Blonde" are a notably elusive name, with very little commercially released material associated with the band. Their limited recorded output and the scarcity of original pressings have helped give the group a cult following among collectors of obscure British rock. This advance promo therefore offers a particularly unusual variation of the release for collectors interested in rare and lesser-known UK vinyl.

The combination of white-label promotional status, 7" format and extremely limited output makes this an especially interesting record for specialist collectors. It sits comfortably alongside collections of obscure alternative rock, independent British singles, hard rock and late-1980s/early-1990s underground releases.
