Released in 2009 on Mau5trap Recordings, I Remember (Remixes) brings two radically different UK bass interpretations to deadmau5 and Kaskade's hugely successful electronic classic. This original 12" release, catalogue MAU5 017X, was issued as the second disc in the UK I Remember vinyl series, with the J Majik & Wickaman Remix on the A-side and Caspa Remix on the B-side.

Originally released in 2008, "I Remember" became one of the defining collaborations between deadmau5 and Kaskade, blending melodic progressive house with Haley Gibby's distinctive vocal. The remix project took the track well outside its original house setting, making this 12" particularly appealing to collectors interested in the crossover between progressive house, drum & bass and the rapidly developing dubstep scene of the late 2000s.

On the A-side, J Majik & Wickaman transform "I Remember" into a driving drum & bass workout. Their remix retains the recognisable melodic and vocal elements while adding breakbeats, rolling bass and the faster energy associated with UK drum & bass. The remix was part of a wider bass-focused release campaign and also appeared alongside a separate J Majik & Wickaman Dub.

The B-side belongs to Caspa, one of the key figures in the emergence of dubstep during the 2000s. His remix strips the track into a much heavier bass-driven framework, giving the original's atmospheric vocal and melody a darker, more spacious setting. The result makes for an excellent contrast with the A-side, moving from drum & bass propulsion into the weightier territory of early UK dubstep.
