Released in 2013, Bula Quo! is one of the most distinctive albums in Status Quo's long and celebrated career. Written as the soundtrack to the band's comedy-adventure film of the same name, the album combines brand-new studio material with a bonus disc featuring soundtrack recordings, live performances and reimagined Quo classics.

The studio album delivers the trademark Status Quo sound of driving guitars, infectious hooks and singalong choruses, with highlights including “Looking Out For Caroline,” “GoGoGo,” “Mystery Island,” and the Fijian-inspired title track “Bula Bula Quo (Kua Ni Lega).” The songs blend classic Quo boogie rock with fresh influences inspired by the film's South Pacific setting.
