Songs like We Exist and Normal Person balance that groove with the band’s signature anthemic songwriting.

The second half moves into darker, more meditative territory, drawing inspiration from the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Tracks such as Awful Sound (Oh Eurydice) and It’s Never Over (Hey Orpheus) explore love, loss, and disconnection, while Afterlife stands out as one of the album’s emotional high points - melancholic yet strangely uplifting.
