Released in 2014, The Endless River is the fifteenth and final studio album by Pink Floyd. Built largely from unreleased recordings and improvisational sessions created during the making of The Division Bell (1994), the album serves as a tribute to the band's late keyboardist Richard Wright, whose atmospheric playing is central to its sound.

Unlike most Pink Floyd albums, The Endless River is predominantly instrumental, emphasizing mood, texture, and sonic exploration rather than conventional song structures. The music draws on ambient soundscapes, progressive rock passages, and flowing instrumental themes that recall elements of the band's earlier experimental work.

The album was assembled by remaining members David Gilmour and Nick Mason, using archive material recorded with Wright. The only full vocal track is "Louder Than Words," which closes both the album and Pink Floyd's studio recording career.

While distinct from the conceptual epics that defined much of the band's catalogue, The Endless River functions as a reflective farewell, celebrating the musical chemistry and atmospheric sound that made Pink Floyd one of rock's most influential groups.
