Released in 1988, Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 is the celebrated debut album from the supergroup Traveling Wilburys, bringing together five major figures of rock music: George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, and producer-musician Jeff Lynne.

The album was recorded informally and quickly, capturing a relaxed, collaborative spirit that stands in contrast to the individual members’ legendary careers.
